I joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev a little over a year ago. I am a fluid dynamicist by training and choice. I love fluid mechanics! Over the years, I have worked in a number of different sub-disciplines of fluid mechanics. Currently, my main research focus (and number one passion) is investigation and elucidation of electro-kinetics and nano-fluidics phenomena. Particularly, I am interested in ion transport through nano-channels coupled with hydrodynamics effects. More details can be found on my Research page.
(Above picture and video are of a typical microchannel-nanochannel setup and the Rubinstein-Zaltzman instability forming at the microchannel-nanochannel interface.)
I am looking for highly talented and highly motivated interdisciplinary graduate students and post-docs interested in conducting theoretical analysis and numerical simulations before commencing with experiments (upon lab construction completion). Email me at email@example.com. Please send me an updated CV, a grade transcript, and a 2-3 sentence statement of purpose.
